Vision Team Update

Here's a quick update from the Vision Team. With the Listening sessions complete, the Vision Team is moving on to their next step in the discernment process called Asset Mapping. This is where they will identify the needs and resources in our community and church, as well as the places where those needs and resources intersect or diverge. The Vision Team has their next training session with Carson & Shelby this coming Sunday, August 24th, where they will hear some preliminary findings from the listening sessions as well as receive training to complete the asset mapping. This work will take the bulk of the fall to complete, so they're asking the church to join them in prayer for God's continued grace, wisdom, and energy. Also, please mark down Sunday, September 28, for a churchwide potluck and presentation with Carson & Shelby. That morning, we'll get to hear the full findings from the Listening Sessions as well as key takeaways to be praying about in the weeks ahead.
