Counseling – Lindsey Hawkins

Lindsey Hawkins received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
 
Lindsey is licensed in the State of Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Dr. Shaun Burrow, LPC, LMFT Board Approved Supervisor (license #201019).
 
In addition to her part-time work at Broadway Church of Christ Counseling Center, Lindsey is pursuing her doctoral degree at Texas Tech in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy. She loves working with children, couples, and families as they navigate through the difficulties that life brings. Lindsey also has additional training in Trauma Focused –Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is research-supported and specifically helps individuals heal from trauma (e.g. sexual abuse, child abuse, maltreatment). Overall, Lindsey wants to provide a safe and compassionate place for all individuals to find healing and wholeness.
 
Lindsey is a proud Red Raider and loves being a part of the Lubbock community. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys hiking, bike riding, and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.
